What is Financial Peace
University and who is it for?
FPU is a 13-week life-changing program
from Dave Ramsey (see DaveRamsey.com) that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions
to achieve your financial goals and God's plan for your life. The course
includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving
like never before, and much, much more!
FPU is for EVERYONE!
We welcome anyone who would like get control of their finances to this
class! On average, Financial Peace University participants have

during this 13-week program!
When do classes start and
how long is each class session?
Classes start on Tuesday, July 21st. They will run for 13 weeks on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm
at the Vineyard Church of Cedar Rapids.
What are the subjects covered
in each lesson?
- Lesson 1: Super
Savers - Teaches the importance of saving money and how to get the
best return on your money.
- Lesson 2: Cash
Flow Planning - Will teach you step-by-step how to put together
a zero-based monthly budget and walk through how to complete all of
the financial management forms with samples included.
- Lesson 3: Relating
with Money - Is about the importance of working together in relationships
and how we handle money.
- Lesson 4: Buying
Only Big, Big Bargains - Teaches Dave's personal techniques on how
to negotiate and get the very best deals when buying something.
- Lesson 5: Dumping
Debt - Teaches how to get out of debt and stay out of debt.
- Lesson 6: Understanding
Investments - Teaches the difference between stocks, bonds, mutual
funds, CDs, annuities, and where you can get the very best return on
your hard-earned money.

Each family that attends Financial
Peace University must purchase a member kit. Member kits cost $100 per
family. After a membership has been purchased, you, your spouse, and
your children can attend FPU classes for life! Member kits include:

an audio CD library.
- Dave Ramsey's personal
testimony on CD.
- Three months of
zero based monthly budgeting forms on CD.
- A financial snapshot
progress form.
- A complete set of
financial management forms, including samples.
- All 13 fill-in-the-blank
FPU lessons to work through with Dave during the classes.
- Dave Ramsey's
Financial Peace Revisited book.
- The envelope system.
- Two debit card holders.
- Access to the Member
Resource Center online, where you will find helpful financial tools.
- A graduation certificate
upon completion of the class (You must attend 12 of the 13 classes in

about Financial Peace University?
Attend one of the preview classes.
Each preview class is just 30 minutes long and it will give an introduction
of FPU, allow you to meet the teachers and ask questions. There is no
cost and no obligation to attend the orientation class.
